Composite veneers are thin sheets that are applied to the front surface of the tooth. These types of veneers are made from the same materials as fillings: a lightweight polymer composite. Such veneers have several advantages: they are durable, easy to fit, and require only one session with the dentist.

First of all, the doctor examines the patient’s oral cavity, assesses the condition of the teeth and the presence of related problems. If there are pathologies, they are removed and dental sanitation is performed. Subsequently, the dentist, next to the patient, selects the colour of the composite material. In the next stage, the tooth is ground by 0.3 to 0.7 mm and the composite material is applied to its surface in layers, forming a veneer, which is polished at the end of the process. All of this is done in a single visit with the dentist and there is no need to make the plates in a laboratory.
How to care for composite veneers?
Composite veneers require standard care. You need to brush your teeth with toothpaste twice a day, and floss and an oral irrigator can be used if necessary. To preserve the colour of the veneers, they should be polished periodically and it is recommended this procedure to be performed by a dentist 2 times a year.
Composite veneers are much cheaper than porcelain veneers. You can find all the prices down below. If you want to make an appointment with our specialists, please leave a request on our website or call us.
